Mark: I suspect that more and more libraries are splitting off electronic resources into it's own thing -- it's so complicated and messy that asking a librarian to do that *and* something else can be a little hair-raising. But "fun"? My idea of fun is considered seriously warped by many due to my status as a serials cataloger ... but "electronic resources and serials librarian" as fun? Even I don't want one of those jobs. ;-) Of course, that's my loss seeing as that is about the most prolific open job (and growing) right now. Congrats! Again, yippee!
