Update: Woody Evans has posted video of a more recent presentation by Rosling. The beginning is similar to the one linked below, but then it branches into different content.

Information from publicly-funded databases, that is, and it’s Hans Rosling from gapminder.org who is interested in making it happen. The web sit’s second blurb down is on the UN’s finally making their data available for free as of May 1 of this year. Good to know.

Be sure to watch the TED video of Rosling’s presentation from last year in which he tackles statistics on poverty rates and life expectancy, among others.
